Today we got another phone call about Blue. A man, from Brown Deer, who was interested for his son. So they are coming this morning and the lady that called yesterday is coming this afternoon.
The man from Brown Deer came with his wife and son. The son may have some disability but they were very loving people. They have had tea cup poodles in the past and have a 9 month old Bichon on home. They have always had two or three dogs at a time and when the last ones died they waited a little while and then got the Bichon. They are going to name him Buddy and the son was telling me that he now will have to brush two dogs' teeth. The son just picked up Blue and held and hugged him. He has a very loving home. They will mail us a picture in 6 months of both dogs.
Muriel is taking home Red today and keeping him until he is picked up on Thurs. Now it is seems empty and Phil says that it is really sad. John said that it was fun and it is too bad that it is over. Rich is also very sad. Muriel was excited to take Red for the day but will be sad when it is all over. We calculated the money and we came out about $50.00 ahead. Not much money but a great ride.
Depending on where our life is next year we may do it all over again. Thanks for all the helpers, especially my granddaughter, my husband, my sister and brother in law, my daughter and her family and all the others who helped and socialized with the pups.
It is sad that Mozie died a year ago this week but his death led to the purchasing of Gus and the breeding of Tilly and the ride of our lives. When God closes one door he opens another.

The bottom dog is the late and great Mozie and above him is the late and loved Muffin and on Muriel's lap is Tilly. (pictured in the summer of 2005)
