The pups slept much better last night. All dogs slept in crates. Tilly and Pink were in Tilly's crate in our bedroom, and Yellow was in his crate. The last crate had Red, Blue and Black. They only got up once in the middle of the night to go potty and then back in the crate till 7am. This was wonderful.
The pups like to play in the wood chips and leaves in the front of the house. When they are in the house they are being held or in the pool. They do have times when they pee on the newspaper in the pool but most of the time they go out. They are let out about every two to three hours during the day.
The rule of thumb is that they can hold it and be crated for about 1 and 1/2 hours per month they are old. So that puts them at about 3 hours. They were put to bed about 10:30 last night and got up once and finally up at 7am. I think that I let them out for the potty break about 2am. I think that they are doing well and I like the fact that it is warm out and therefore not a problem to go out in my PJs at night.
Grandpa John, Grandma Mary and Daddy Gus all came for the weekend. Grandpa John has been playing a lot with the pups. He took Black in the 4th of July parade in Egg Harbor. He said that he would take all of them home if his wife, Mary, would care for them. Here is a picture of Grandpa John putting red in a jar.
