Four weeks after being bred, her personality started to change and she started to drink more water than usual.
She then started to look pregnant about 5 weeks, i.e. bigger belly and enlarged nipples.
By the time Tilly was 7 weeks pregnant, she was having problems getting comfortable. She was not jumping as much and would only spend a short time on your lap. She no longer wanted to play with her mate, Gus.
By 8 weeks she was definitely uncomfortable and usually not sleeping in bed with her caretakers who took up too much room.
In the 9th week she was very large and not wanting to do any jumping or running. She only went up on furniture when she was lifted up. She also did not like to walk very far. We began taking her temperature daily. On May 24th her temperature dropped below 98 degrees and that told us that the pups were ready to come.
